Minimum System Requirements for Musiah

Summary:

Ideally, you need a MIDI keyboard / digital piano with at least 49 keys connected by cable or Bluetooth to your computer or iPad. See below for more details.

Windows users:

• Operating System: Win 11, 10, 8, 7, Vista
• Processor: Dual-core processor or better
• Memory: 2 GB RAM / Graphics Memory: 256MB
• Storage: 5 GB available hard disk space

Mac users:

• Operating System: Mac OS 10.13.0 or above
• Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13 GHz
• Memory: 2 GB RAM / Graphics Memory: 128MB
• Storage: 5 GB available hard disk space

iPad users:

• iOS 12 or better

Additional Equipment:

A MIDI piano keyboard (see keyboard info) OR you can set up your computer keyboard to play piano notes. Alternatively, iPad users can use the On-Screen Keyboard available in Musiah Unity for iPad.

Notes:

• For computer users, unless you are using a touchscreen, we recommend using a mouse (e.g. for rhythm tapping exercises) as laptop tracking pads are not suitable.
• Windows laptops may require higher specifications.
• Musiah software is not suitable for use on Microsoft Surface running Windows RT.
• Bluetooth headphones / speakers are not recommended as they lead to latency. Learn more about wireless headphones.
